I think the interior is pretty cool. Did you paint it yourself? :)

The gray clashes with the rest of the black and red but besides that the interior looks good. The funny thing is that your interior is flashier than the outside of your car. And no offense but those euro taillights have to go.

yeah i sure did and i used red vinyl in for the door fabrics turns out pretty well against the black door panel

what i really need to take a pic of is my front and back door panels they are completely inverted in color scheme (the door panel is red but the minor parts are black)

but thanks for the pointers so far guys im gonna be takin out some stuff and repainting it

dont really like the rims or taillights, or the interior. thats too much flashyness for me. id say bring it back to stock and get it professionally done, or just leave it plain, the interior isnt that bad stock.

heh yeah i made a huge decision by going ahead with the interior painting and fabricating, but in the end it made the interior ride a lot better because with a red/black interior the mood is easily communicated to be aggressive i just thought a grayish interior was blunt and lacked something but i still have the bodykit to be painted and installed on which should match the exterior with the interior. The pending volcano fiberglass enclosure should also boost the interior design recipe :)

that carpet is actually a 98-02 kit that was designed to cover the entire dash area but it lacks coverage on the sides and near the steering wheel i should just mask off everything and maybe paint the dash instead and try to eliminate all grey as possible? a new steering wheel, ebrake, and shifter should also aid this cause

    LOL mexican interior?!?! whoaaa?

and matt got the exterior intention - always thought the altezzas were justified with a good set of chrome rims

you should get rid of those wheels.
i would get the black tails and heads.
you should paint your whole dash black and maybe your steering wheel too unless you wanna drop 400+ for the black S steering wheel.
i like your interior door style though. That's exactly what I wanted to do with the cloth part. instead of the black i have now, i wanted to reupholster it to red and the ceiling to black.
where'd you get that gauge pod? i've been looking all over for that.

the gauge pod is actually universal but since it was black i was able to blend it in a bit on the stock plastic a-pillar.

yeah normally theres probably around 40-50 screws holding the dash on so i got around that by masking everything off with trash bags/tape and then painted while inside certainly did the trick and overspray was not a problem

pic is a bit blurry but you can see the result right after taking all the protective plastics

ya joe, that's hot, everybody has different tastes, to each there own, joe bud i like it, took a bit to get use to the rims they are a bit on the bling bling side but they do match the chrome tail and heads, for the interrior, i didn't want to say anything but you figured it out and got rid of the mat on the dash, it looks wicked all black now.

yeah for the steering wheel i was probably gonna keep it but paint the middle portion red with the outer ring around black, or would vice versa look better ya think?

hey yeah its awesome, 2 color interiors are the best as long as one of them is black because i think it makes your other preferred color stand out a ton

yeah i guess the paint is quite vulnerable to a kick motion (how else could they be attacked? lol!) unless u do a few more coats usually thats what i do on my door panels especially the front ones are pretty heavily coated and i should do clear coating your right to prevent even a slight scratch from showing

thats a good rule matt heh i dont really mind fingers touching painted pieces really, just a personal preference i guess

im actually happy you posted your interior up because its ALOT like mine in that we used black as our majority color and then a secondary color that makes stuff stand out, your lucky because your interior parts were already black being a corolla S?

My rule of thumb is to paint only the things fingers don't have to touch.
