    Removing tailights?

I'm having some problems taking off my tail lights (95 Rolla) and I need your help in removing the last connectors. It's those two little black plastic things on the outside edge.. How do you get them off?

    Here's some pics...

I've got it loose enough to wiggle after removing the two big nuts and the brass nut/washer. But those two black things are holding the light in still. I can't figure out how to get them to release...

there is a part on the top of the lights (if you're looking from hte back) that prevents me from sliding it to the side more than a couple millimeters...

Hm. If they are anything like the 01-02 reverse lights... You might need one of those plastic body pin poppers.. kinda looks like a flathead screwdiver thats angled and has a notch in it. You can get good pressure and angle on the pin and pop it up without breaking anything. I broke mine because I didn't have one.

    EDIT...
Oh, maybe not.. I dont know. What Rolla 95 said sounds right. Maybe you need to put a little more pressure on it. careful!

so it finally came off damn it. It pulled straight out and not to the side. I still couldn't figure it out so I called my roommate out to help and in 2 seconds it popped right out for him... Ai ya!

:D Cool. It just takes someone else that doesn't care so much about your car to rip something off of it with a little more force than you. haha

that kind of thing always happens with my friends dad... we'll be working on something for like 4 hours and then go "wayne help"... and hell come out to the garage and in like 3 seconds pop and its off... we've even gone so far as to make bets on how long it will take him once we call him out.
