this is in a parking lot in valencia. i teach music lessons. and the store-front is on the left of the top picture. all the koreans are bad parkers. i teach at 3 music places owned by koreans, well the plaza is korean owned. not only is there a music store (where i work) there's a tutoring center (right side of the top pic) real estate/brokerage, art/drawing, and a computer repair (you know... all those typical korean businesses) THE PARKING IS TERRIBLE!!

Don't get me wrong, I love BMW's, and koreans are reallllly nice people. I wish I could drive a BMW 7 series, but when Asians get in the big cars and when there's a korean/asian business center like the places I work, parking is terrible. and with the luxury cars, it's even worse. i should advertise my lawyer's telephone number on my windows to warn these guys that I'm ready to sue them if my car gets screwed up because of their terrible park jobs.

7 out of 10 times (i have the stats on a small notepad) these luxury car drivers (asian) (and korean because i see koreans 4 days a week) take 2 spots!!! maybe they are just bad drivers, but maybe there is a superiority complex within them when they drive their really expensive cars.

again, i don't hate korean people. if it were filipinos (me) who drove just as bad, i would've called them out too. anyone... i thought this is worth posting...

this is not an attack on korean people (besides, they pay me the big bucks). this is just an observasion. perhaps i should've created a different thread title instead of stuck up bmw drivers.

It's a combination of both. Some asians can't drive to save their life and a lot of people driving bwm's have a superiority complex. They feel like they can own the road, change lanes without signaling, drive freakishly fast, take up 2 parking spots, and pretty much just annoy the hell out of normal drivers. And it's not just Asians, I can vouch for armenians as well. OMG they drive me crazy. I would take on an Asian driver instead any day.

BTW is that the parking lot where that Bounce boba loft is? But on second thought, I don't remember Korean vinyl on the window there. Still in Northridge hehe. :)

something like "OMFG LOOK AT THIS CRAPPY PARKING JOB" would have sufficed.

If you had an expensive car, youd take up two spaces too.

Youre applying those scenarios to bmw drivers, instead of everyone in general.

i wouldn't take up 2 spaces. i'd try my damn best to be in the lines or stay away of compact spaces so that someone doesn't ding my door...

if people who drive fancy cars think they can take up 2 spots, well they have to change their mindset. with the pictures shown above, it may look like i can get out of my car, but I'm fat; it wasn't easy getting out. BUT IT WAS EASY FOR ME 2F*CK UP THAT BMW's DOOR! ...but I didn't do that. I'm just saying, I'd use the parking spaces for what they're for, and in the case of me owning a luxury car, and for the sake of the other drivers, I'd park carefully so that my car doesn't get banged up.
Don't you notice that people with beat-up cars don't care how they park? As a result they get the dings and dents? Or end up giving other cars dents? Yet they don't care cause their car is a POS.

It's a two way street... if you park carefully, you'll give other people a chance to park around you. People gripe about parking conveniences(sp check) all the time. What makes it worse is when someone takes 2 spots.

fifthonetwo,

you want me to apologize? you got it!

Fifthonetwo,
I'm sorry for titling this thread, STUCK UP BMW DRIVERS. I'm sorry if this made you terrible mad. All I ask is that you don't click reply on a posts, copy and paste a couple others, and hit me and rollatuner110 with a one-liners that make absolutely no sense after explaining the fact that I have nothing against korean people and that I myself would want to drive a BMW (I'm generalizing when I say BMW. I mean luxury car). For one thing, seeing that I'm the creator of this thread, and stating that I would love to drive and own a BMW, and seeing that bad parkjobs piss people off, wouldn't you think I'd take better care of my driving and parking? Don't slap on any pretenses or judge me or anyone before typing out any one-liners. This is the internet, you don't know me. Before trying to judge anyone, read the preceeding material more than once. You also need to double check that perhaps, you shouldn't take whatever the thread creator is saying to heart or take it personal. Or perhaps, maybe it's just a joke. Or perhaps, the creator of the thread is only 16 years old.

Again, about the Stuck up BMW drivers,
I apologize. Deep within my heart.

true story n long story short:
i saw an east indian guy last year driving a brand new bmw 5 series who wants to parallel park and a ford taurus drives up behind him so bmw couldn't back up. bmw guy started screaming and saying F-you, F-this and F-that and he got out of his nice shiny bmw to give the taurus guy a piece of his mind.
he opens his door and steps out. as soon as he stepped out of his shiny bmw, red and blue lights on the taurus turned on! :D :D
it was an unmarked police car. bmw guy's face just dropped - it was priceless to see that moron's face. :D

hmm... nice way to derail a thread, rollatuner!

so you saw my ride? you should've saw my ride on sunday. it was lower. dude, that section between tampa and topanga cyn going west on the 118fwy was really bumpy. it's the cement paved part of the freeway. i think it settled my springs. and monday night i was rubbing like crazy. but yeah, my ride was lower a couple days ago. i wasn't paying attn to any cars today (tuesday 01/30). i had this huge crashing headache and there was no parking today it was pissing me off. i ended up parking in the hood at the 2 hour parking down etiwanda. but i did see a cream colored corolla later tonight with gramlites as i was leaving campus.. but i'll keep an eye out for yours. who else is at csun modifying corollas? we should do a top floor meet or sumthin...

A little to add to the bad bmw experience today.

I was on the highway and driving home from work. It rained hard not too long before so the road was still wet. A BMW 5 series (the newest model in fact which didnt even have plates on yet) got on the highway from the on ramp and got in front of me. I always drive on the far right (slow) lane esp on rainy or windy days and drive slow due to crazy drivers who dont know how to drive and could possibly hit me.

SO anyway, the car (BMW) changes lane and moves further left 2 lanes over. and then immediately, the moves 2 lanes back to where i was but by then, i had moved a little further in front so i would say i was in or near their blind spot. I see the car almost coming close to hitting me so i honked. Thats when the car tried to get back into the 2nd lane and then the car started to swerve and spun out to the right hand side. So with me and my conscience, I felt bad that maybe it was me who honked and scared the driver which caused the spin out. So i park on the side of the road, get out to see if the driver was ok. It just so happens that it was a korean lady. I asked her if she was OK. she was in shock and didnt say anything. then someone in the passenger side comes out. That guy i actually knew his face. he was the one of the pastors at the church my gf goes to. he asks me if I am OK. I say yeah. then he says "well no one was hurt, we're both korean, lets just let this go by". Then I said "sorry i'm not korean." then the lady driver jumps out of the car and starts blaming me for everything. She's crying and super pissed off.

This was about the time that the CHP (california highway patrol) comes over and checks to see if we are ok. Then I hear the pastor telling the cop dude how i was speeding and i almost hit them and they spun out. They were both blaming me. After I told my story, the cop let me go after getting my info and then when i was getting ready to leave, the lady comes running over knocking on my window and tells me i should take responsibility for her trauma. i said no because its not my fault. she then kicks my door and the officer then restrains her and tells me to leave before something else happens.

Later, I call my gf and tell her what happened. She then tells me that is proof that she thinks her whole church is corrupt. She has no problem with the pastor but she did say his wife was very "stuck up". I dont think the lady who i encountered was the wife today but man, what a way to end the day. you try to be helpful and you are rewarded with a kick to your car.

OH yeah and one more thing: after that whole bmw incident, i came across a dodge charger. I saw the car going real fast in my back mirror so immediately i moved to let him pass. surely enough, about 3 blocks later after i caught up, the car slid and was in an accident. hit a light pole and also the curb it looked like.. cuz the tire and suspension looked all jacked up. either that or that car can do some crazy negative camber settings on just one wheel. lol.

The point of my story today: rainy days on the street of southern california sucks.

I wouldnt take up two spaces either. :)

I didnt ask for an apology, did I?

Whos mad?

They make no sense? They make perfect sense....maybe you just dont have very good reading comprehension skills. You have nothing against Korean people? One, I never once mentioned anything about that.....and two.....why did you feel the need to post up that the driver was Korean in the first place then?

Im not judging.....you yourself opened yourself up for the "one liner" questions that I posted.....

Wow. Maybe YOU should re-read the thread, and youll see that YOU are taking my TWO replies to heart/personal. All I did was ask you why you feel the need to make a generalization that all luxury car owners are stuck up. And you have essentially said that all korean drivers are bad drivers and cant park.

This entire reply was totally ridiculous.
