    k-sports

i just talked with a handful of shops selling ksport coilovers. maybe it's a sales technique but they all (100% of them) said that not one customer has comeback saying that ksports suck. so what do i do? i buy a set. maybe i'll post a diy of the install

who else has ksports? does anyone know if they're readily available for shipping?

i got mine and installed the fronts! took it out for a drive and they felt really good. for the money they are awesome. superior to the spring/strut combination i had. a big difference is the springs are linear. i have to get used to that because i was driving on progressive springs for a while. it is like going back to stock in terms of the linear springs but stiffer. they seem really nice although i have not gotten to adjust them or even get the rears on yet. i'll say they are good and worth the money

    installed on my 93 corolla:

notice how the spring is much smaller than the stock and goes around a lot more.

BTW i ordered them from the groupbuy here (best price) shipped in like a week. they don't suck. they are good. i was skeptical at first but now a believer.

i'm prodding around a few civic and import car forums, a ton of ppl like the ksports and of course the teins, but let's keep this a ksport thread... lol

but yes, I'M A BELIEVER IN THE KSPORTS TOO!

    HEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do the ksports come with a sticker/decal? no no no, i'm not sticking it on my car, my laptop is decked out with all these decals, i have some space left for a ksport one.

I have just received my set yesterday. I am waiting for my rear white line sway bar and the bushing/front sway bar link kit to be shipped. I still have everything stock from the factory on my 2000 LE and will wait for everything to arrive before installing them. I should be able to have some pictures of the stock strut/coil next to my new k sport in a couple of weeks. I will keep you guys informed and post as soon as everything is done. I'm expecting the changes to be dramatic since everything on the car is bone stock from the factory and the car has 140 000km on the clock. With me trashing the shit out of it for the last 50 000 in just over 1 1/2 year, everything is as soft and shot as it can get.

Found it in the other corolla forum. I think it's a good warning to those who got k-sports. :)

actually the rear ones i have the HP struts in there and i either have to bleed the brake lines because they go through a hole unlike the stock struts, or i have to cut the bracket so i can slide the brake line out. it was really freakin' cold that night too.

of course properly install the brake line holder. that's like saying make sure you tighten the bolts because they will come undone and the wheel will fly off. uhh okay. thank you captain obvious. :D
