    Weird Test With Celica

Me and my friend tried this once when we both got our oil changed for redline oil,
and I bought a "Tornado" device at Pepboys I tried if it works.

HOW DID HE LOSE WITH THAT CRAP ???
Using my 03Corolla S and my friends 04Celica GT150hp "I think" well, we tried who can climb the 1-15 uphills at California faster OK my car doesnt even have CAI ok just the vortex generator and a TRD filter and he has an AEM CAI an exhaust upgrade and a ceramic header, and my car is an Automatic he has a manual. both of us are alone in our cars, turns out Im actually getting more torque and Im climbing uphill going 110mph topspeed. and his having a hard time climbing up on 4th gear. going 80-90 tops. Im on overdrive off by the way.
and we raced seriously all the way because we have radar detectors anyway.

this is back in winter 05. I dont have my own pipe intake back then.

    roffles...you bought a Tornado?

furthermore, you're stupid enough to race on the street?

    does tornado = vortex generator?

the tornado is a placebo device, designed to take your money and nothing more...i assure you.

furthermore, if you're not racing on a closed course, you're an idiot in my books. there is NO ROAD in the united states with a speed limit that high, so slow the hell down. take it to the track or don't bother.

Montana has a strip of road somewhere where they have no speed limit for a few miles. or at least they did about 7 years ago.

    I agree completely.
First, the tornado is a piece of metal obstructing the flow of air into the motor. Therefore, it will reduce power, not gain.
Second, racing on public roads is idiotic if falnfenix hasn't told you over and over again. Someday you're going to kill some innocent motorist or bystander. Take racing to the track. There's a reason why professional racers established RACR, Racers Against Street Racing. It's to keep idiots like you from hurting yourselves or innocent others in the process of your so called racing.
Third, those so called "rally racers" going 100-140 are just as stupid as you. If you hit anything going those speeds, it's like crushing your car like a soda can. Furthermore, if the police catch you, its reckless driving and you will have to pay heavy fines up the ass, get your license pulled, and might even go to prison.

    Same as above. :D
And I believe you will go faster WITHOUT the Tornado.

I was browsing through Mitsubishi's site looking at Evo's and now I know what a Vortex Generator is. "A Vortex Generator tunes and directs air onto the spoiler's Wickerbill to generate maximum downforce at speed." - taken from the site

So yes, if you mean by redirecting air to the spoiler, then yes it works. hahahhaha But if it's on a corolla then what's the point? What do we need downforce for? Are we gonna go so fast that we're gonna fly away? ROFLMFAO!!!

P.S. this tornado/vortex generator you mentioned still doesn't work. LOL
