    tokico blues w/skunk 2 coilovers

hey I used o rings to put the sleeves on the shocks and i notices some of them got cut and stick out or something. I think i should have used electrical tape. Well now when i'm doing like a k turn or something my shocks or something creek. It reminds me of a pirate ship or sail boat noise. anyone know what i'm talkin bout and how to get rid of the noise. also when i go over bumps it's like the springs and stuff hop with the car and make noise. I tried to zip tie them but the zip ties end up just breakin. is this jus a flaw of having coilovers? or is there a solution?

They sell those at stores I think and you can just replace them. You will have to take the assembly apart again though. I forgot where I got mine but I used 8 of them, 2 for each end of each coil. Zip ties won't work since the spring is constantly moving.

Don't think you need spring compressor for the coilovers.
Just take your time and take it apart yourself, shouldn't be hard but just time consuming.
And you will need to pay to do the alignment again.

oh aight. i feel like wrapping the pirch with electrical tape is better than the o rings because you can get it tight all the way around rather than just the parts the o rings cover

i don't like them at all. spring rates suck or sumthin. if i hit a little lump the shit will bump hard. i guess the springs jus compress real easily.

You should've done your homework on that one. ;)
Skunk2 is famous for using insanely high spring rates on their springs.

LOL, no 1 der. fuckin skunk 2s are cheap as hell. unlike the ground control i think i got it 4 2 bills extra. i didn't want 2 low ball. oh i was also asking them if there was any teins coilovers for the corolla. and they sed teins only have drop springs " ss " so i was quite disapointed. do they have coilovers?

Only the full coilover system. But I don't think you wanna spend over 1000
