Nothing says 80's like the Toyota AE92. One more note about the timing belt, I drove that car up to 300K miles. Toyota's will last forever.

An old pic of an AE92 SR5

I'M PISSED that I can't find my other pics of the headers and coils.... but the pic above is what survived after my last laptop crashed.

I made a lot of mistakes back when I was 19...

    1989 Corolla SR5 (carb'd)
15" Motegi MR7's (big mistake - too heavy)
OBX Coilovers (BIG Mistake) but the 3 inch drop looked awsome
    KYB Shocks
Pacesetter headers 4-1 (best buy ever)
    Dragwing (ehh another mistake)
No cat but a dynomax bullet instead
    1.75" catbackpipe
    2 sound pollution tickets
    TRD shortshifter (ANOTHER GREAT BUY)

    THOSE WERE THE DAYS!!! but...

now I drive a 2001 Corolla CE. I'll have before and after pics soon!!!

why did you get rid of the car? I thought the corollas back in those days were pretty sexy looking.

I forgot that my pic was shared on some german website. This is a newer pic with my bumpers painted white and with some 17 inchers (also very heavy) i was borrowing for show from a civic

I got rid of the car because there were too many OLD parts which would cost tooo much to replace. bad clutch, axles (due to the motegi's), it wasn't passing smog, so we had to junk it. the radiator was shitty, and when it came time to change the timing belt LOL LOL LOL 100k MILES OVERDUE, all these new parts had to be installed with the new timing belt. i gutted the dynomax muffler, i sold the short shifter, took off the suspension, then junked it for a tax write-off. Those were the goold old days.... but stay tuned!!!! I'm decking out my 2001 corolla.

IF ANYONE HAS AN SR5 OR GTS 87-91 AE92..... OHHHH MY GOD!!! YOU CAN PUT IN A 3SGTE motor in there. I was planning on doing that if it weren't for such old parts that cost too much money just to keep the car running and alive and my parents didn't want to help me with the costs which we weren't sure as to how long they will last... =(

    A short history:
After my SR5 corolla, i was given a 1998 Chevrolet Malibu v6. As soon as I got it, I installed a catback exhaust and a CAI... holy crap that was fun... then my brother (who was driving the 2001 rolla) bought a 2007 Civic Si, and the Corolla was handed down to me.... sooo.... more pics to come

I've always wanted an authentic bomex kit. It would look soooo sick... and of course a carbon fiber hood with invader style or scoop. Now that's a photoshop project!

Just imagine that lowered, and for my tastes, take off the spoiler

Oh dude! I know some hispanic families with the decked out Chevy van with the huge rims and the lights. Feels like you're in an airplane.. I make fun of them and ask them "So... you shoot porn out of there?" But the Japanese Gangster Vans will totally top that off and put them in the dark.

***hey, the only reason I say hispanic is because my two friends are hispanic (Mexican to be exact) and THEY HAVE THOSE VANS. So hispanic people, sorry, and please don't be offended. I'm purely joking.
