2001 Rolla CE 16X7 RIMS Question

OK, I'm quite certain I've combed through this entire thread to find an exact answer to my questions, but I haven't found any consistent answers. I'm terribly sorry for rethreading.

I just bought these on ebay.

the stats on the rim:
* 16"x7"
* +40 offset
* sparktec motors says the rims weigh in at 15lbs

AND i bought black b/c it's the best that matches the beige/champaign color of my car

MY CAR (currently)
* lowered slammed all the way low with stock rims 14"x5.5"
* no rubbing at all, but I'm sure if people sit in the back seats the rear tires will rub. my dad and i are both pretty heavy guys and there's no rubbing in the front. sometimes i bottom-out if i'm not careful over any bad roads. but overall, the ride is great and comfortable; i just have to pay careful attention over what i'm driving.
* OHH YEAH!! the stock rim with tire weighs in at 30lbs. just wanted to let you all know.

QUESTION 1: what is the offset of the 2001 CE corolla stock rims?
QUESTION 2: what is the BEST recommended tire size for the rims I just bought on ebay?
QUESTION 3: will fender rolling be necessary if I set my coilovers to their top height (which is pretty much stock)???
LASTLY: If anyone here has 16x7 with +40 offset, is your corolla lowered? what size are your tires? and are you rubbing?

Answers to your questions:
1. I think +42 or +45
2. Tire size: 205/45/16
3. Plenty of clearance. At stock height with the same size tires and wheels, I have ~2 in. worth of front wheel clearance.

Here are some pics of my corolla. It's 11pm right now, and it's freezing. I was too cold to move my car on a level surface. Yeah, I have an Invader CF hood.

if those offsets are right, then i'll be folding or rolling my fenders if i lower my car an inch!

Should only need to roll them if you lower more than ~2inches.

I would roll them just in case. I need to roll mine as well but securing a rolling tool is hard or expensive to buy.

i dunno, but they're slipstream knockoffs... i still don't have an answer to my offset question...

what tires are you rolling with?
is or was your corolla lowered?
any odometer problems?
is the diameter of your aftermarket wheels the same as stock?

I have a 98 VE that had the same stock steelies on it. My car is still at stock height, but hopefully not for long.
I have 16x7 Rota Circuit 10 wheels on it with 205/45/zr16 Yokohama AVS ES100's on them. Sits right at the fender, but still has a little clearance. I'm actually thinking about using 5mm spacers on the front because the front tires rub a little when the steering wheel is turned fully. Other than that, it sits great, looks great, and makes all the difference in the world in traction and handling in general.

if you have 40 offset wheels then dont use 205's on your rims cuz the back will rub.....

I like those rims. I don't know anything abouit offsets. Maybe I should pay attention more. I have 195/50/15 on my konigs. i feel like the wheels should stick out more. I don't know how i'd roll my fenders because I have those fender flares to make the body look wider.
