Well, I suppose you could look at it that way. I enjoy playing some games here and there, when I get a free moment. I also spend time with my friends, go to the movies, work on decorating my apartment, help my parents out with stuff around their house, work both a fulltime and parttime job, and see my boyfriend. I don't drink or spend time at the bar, so maybe that's why I have so much time on my hands.

hmmm i would get one since its so unique but i hear they have strap defects, like swinging one too hard, having it fly outa ur hand and smack the tv. lol

that's because people aren't using them correctly. besides, there's a voluntary recall for the units already available to the public...they'll replace your strap for free if you ask for a new one. newer units available next month will have the new straps.

i tried the wii. if they are breaking those straps, you must really be putting force into it because i thought it was on there pretty well.

it is. i'm convinced the people "breaking" them aren't using the strap properly(the cincher exists for a reason!), and are cutting the thread to simulate breakage.

we played with my boyfriend's all day yesterday...even my parents, his mother, his best friend's mother, and his 90-year-old grandma played it. :D

    Wii Bowling.

see, as a Marylander living near Baltimore, you CAN'T grow up without bowling...it's just part of who we are as a community(though we're big on duckpin bowling, rather than normal tenpin). all the older ladies at that party have been on a league at some point in their life, so it seemed natural to have them play that. they all had fun. :)

    what?

bowling is a Maryland thing...sure, the rest of the US has it, but it's a huge thing down here in Baltimore, particularly on the east side of the city. duckpins are, from what i understand, ONLY found in MD(but i could be wrong about that).

    what's your question?

hehe i'm not a big fan of bowling. I guess I never understood it. roll the ball and take down the pins.. maybe because i'm not from MD, oh well. I do however love tennis and the tennis game on the wii was veryfun too. I actually liked the golf game too.. surprisingly. I only play golf (go to the driving range) when i need to relieve stress.. but yeah, nintendo did some good with this new game console. very interactive. very fun. I still want a PS3 and GT5 though. I wish they would hurry up and release more info on GT5
