How do you reset the ecu?

I don't think my car is compensating for the SRI, because I get knocking sometimes when starting off at slow speeds. How do you reset the ecu and would this help anything?

I've reset the battery recently and it seems like the car runs well for a few days, but after that, the knocking comes back when I'm starting from a stop. What could be the problem? Not enough airflow?

^^ Or you can switch your lights on real quick. That'll drain any leftover power faster.

Did that today and the car runs like a champ without any hesitation. I'll see how long it lasts...
