goin on a long trip

    goin on a long trip

    aight, im goin up to DC not too ong from now. and i know that my engine is gonna get a beating travelin that long. so anything that i should check before i go? i havnt travel with teh rolla that long for awhile, just concern.

    Check all fluids, if somewhere along the trip your mileage will put you due for an oil change then get it changed before you leave. Coolant is very important, don't overlook that, add extra and make sure it's at the full line. If your car is known to eat coolant, bring a 50/50 mixture up there with you just in case, and double check all your fluids once you leave again.

    Check air pressure, including spare tire...don't want to be in the middle of nowhere with two blown tires. It's a good idea to have them inflated higher than normal (Toyota specs) for long highway driving, but don't overfill past the max PSI of the tire.

    Other than that, you should be pretty good to go. Have fun up there. :)

    thanks guys. i'll do all that before i leave, and i do need a new oil change pretty bad :rolleyes: lol.

    damn immigration kept moving all over the place lol.

    I'm going to FL maybe by the 30th of May since my sister is moving there so I have to help her drive and I guess I'll fly back or somethin..... dk for sure at this point how I'm really gonna get back.
