    Yup. That's what I mean.

I have an 01 Corolla S, and it has it's own fog light switch integrated with the turn signal lever. I was wondering if anybody has a wiring diagram so I could just find the wire for the fogs. Someone from 9thGenCorolla was able to trace it to the GREEN/ORANGE wire, I was wondering if it is the same with the 8th gen.

Actually I wanted to be able to switch on my fog light without having my headlights on.

Why do you say its a downgrade?

oh you mean being able to control when they are on... you'll just need a relay or something like that

So no one has that this mod in 8th gen here? I wonder.

Waaa! Still can't figure out how to make this work. I was able to trace the fog light wiring from the combination switch in the steering wheel. I tried experimenting and still no avail.

how about you use a circuit tester and then turn your fogs on to see which one it is... or, run wire straight from the battery to a switch inside the car, then pop a switch in one of the switch panels, and then run the wires to your battery...not that difficult, just take some time and a couple of wiring tools

    It's easier said than done.:(

I already busted 4 fuses trying to do this. I don't wanna run a live wire straight from my bat.

I'll try more stuff out after this Month. I already mapped out which is the foglight relay, which is the positive terminal from the ground, etc.
