    or

    Falken
    Fk452
    Size: 215/40R17

I’ve done a lot of reading on both and they both have mixed reviews.
What i want is something more comfortable. I currently have the Falken ZE-512 ZIEX. They have great grip but way to noisy and harsh for all these crappy New Orleans streets and constant construction .
I'm leaning towards the fk452s. Anybody had any experience with Hankook?

Oh i forgot to add if i would get a better ride going with a 215/45/17 rather than a 215/40/17? if i go with the 45 series my spedometer would be off by about 4mph.

hankooks all the way. my friend took me on a ride one time in the rain with his 15" ventus'es and he was going so fast i thought i was going to die - and they had great grip, not even a squirm or chirp in the corners. i was really impressed with the wet weather handling and theyre pretty quiet too

The treadwear rating isn't the best, but I use 205/45/ZR17 Yokohama AVS ES100's on my car, and they are a tad noisy, but they handle great. I'm thinking about trying out BFG g-force TA-KDW's next go-round. I've heard nothing but good things about them. The only downside is price on both. I'm not sure about exact price on the BFG's, but from www.tirerack.com, the price for the Yoko's came out to about $100 shipped per tire.

BTW, nice to see another LA 'rolla on here. I'm from BR. :D
