i ve got a k and n intake that sounds like a exhaust

i ve got a k and n typhoon kit
but not got an exhaust done the intake kits sounding like a free flow exhast is it defective the pipe to the throtle body is shaped like a S is it because of the shape the sound?? will getin a free flow exhaust sort my problem out suggest sum good brands for the exhaust

its made to sound loud.

i remember on my old civic i had strapped a K&n intake system and it sounded loud just by itself with no exhaust, but once you get exhaust, the intake just sounds quieter because the exhaust is gonna be extremely louder

buying any univerasl exhaust and custom the exhaust pipe to 2 1/4,its cheaper amd for the intake noist thats very normal.

hw much power up can i expect aftr the cat back i ve already got a k n n intake its short ram though
