    tein ss coilovers any good?

so I was browsing around and the only set of coilovers that I found for a corolla was the tein ss set I don't even know if it fits mine all it says is its made for 03+ so I am assuming so. anyways anybody run these things? are they any good or they bad they run pretty steep at like 1100 bucks so I dunno I also thought about just getting the lowering springs by h&r and drop my car 2 inches any thoughts. thanks

question is... "can you handle coilovers?" . i'll let jspexae102 give you coilovers 101 whenever he sees this thread.

If you're only looking into lowering your car, dont get the coilovers. Stick with the springs.

I would get some newer Tein coilovers, like the Flex model, that way you can use their EDFC to change your damper settings on the fly from inside the car.

tein product is really well known and well respected,so any tein suspension starting from tein ss to tein flex suspension is top notch,so i cant argue anything how junk or have any negative answer about it and i believe that the tien ss have adjustable 16 level dampner.so the price of the tein ss is reasonable.

dude, if your not gonna be changing your ride height go for lowering springs and dampners. alot less money. but, if you want the adjustability then get some better teins, the flex's are nice. dotn cheap out on that stuff, it will totaly screw you up if your not careful

the k-sport setup is pretty good. a couple of my friends run em' in there civics/ integras. you can also get custom spring rates from them if you need it.

I agree. I didn't want to change my ride height and went with springs/struts combo. It worked well enough.
