    Am I killing my engine?

so when I got my rolla for the first oh 1300 miles I was really nice to it and all, but ever since I am still nice to it, but half the time, if not all the time whenever I am the lead car at a red light or when I am at a stop sign I just love to redline and floor my car. I don't speed I will just redline first and second but still its like this everyday. Hows the engine on those things should I calm it down or am I just over reacting. Also I topped the car off at 110 and damn it still had plenty more revs to go how can I get rid of that limiter the easiest way.

um, no, the 1zz-fe's are pretty rev happy engines... although.. I wouldn't redline them because you won't be getting much out of it in high rpms, although I don't know because I have an auto

but a friend of mine have a manual 03 rolla and it's pretty impressive what 130 claimed HP can do in a retard's hand (he is actually a retard)

i hate hitting fuelcut though cause it sounds dumb. if it were igintion cut, then i'd hit redline all day and be happy about it.

i went past 110mph in 4th gear and i was only 5000 rpm. and the car didn't shut off, it's just fuel cut due to hitting the governor.

don't redline, is just bad. I go to like 6k or a little before but please don't redline. I went past 110 mph, freaking needle was buried and the car just shut off lol, I have no idea how it happened but I had to wait for the car to go back down to like 80 mph and I had to clutch start it lol

The engine in my opinion is pretty durable. if you keep driving the way you do, you'll probably experience what happened to me which is needing to replace the engine damper and possibly your transmission, depending on how hard you are driving your car. i've done about 125-130 going downhill on my car but scared the shit outta me seeing how light the car is and also it being stock.. i dont think i'll do it again unless I do some mods to it. which will never happen seeing that i'm always broke.

ALso when I used to constantly rev at high rpms, my waterpump started to leak too. so I guess kinda look out for that so your engine wont overheat.

do not do that ona frequent basis... if you want to, then have it prepped up for at least a semi-race spec... if its a daily driven ride, i suggest you don't...
