gas gauge stuck

    gas gauge stuck

    my gas needle is stuck... how do i fix that?

    check the floater in the tank - it's possible that's broken.

    before you get to the gass tank see if by any chance your needle is not stuck, maybe it got some dirt or something and its preventing movement

    in what position is it stuck?

    what happens when you turn the car off and take the key from ignition?

    the gas needle stays there, it doesnt die down like the other needles (temp/rpm/speed)

    sounds like the needle is stuck because if it was the floater it would still die down when you turn the care off. you could get a cheap gauge cluster off ebay and swap what you need from it.....
