Out of ideas, shaking steering wheel...

The problem is that when I reach 60-65 mph my steering wheel shakes really bad. I just got my rims put back on with new tires. Last year I had the same problem and I had an alignment done and it was fixed. This year it didnt work. The wheel balance was checked too and got new cambers put in. The only thing left is that my one rim, one of the workers told me had damage that looks like from a pothole, so there is a small bend in it, i guess. Would that cause the shaking? If so, I guess I need to buy a new rim :(
    Thanks,
    -Kevin

    Do you have hubcentric rings?

If thats not the problem, you probably have a bad CV joint.

did they do a true balance on it? meaning did they use stick on weights on the inside of your rims? if not, then they only put weights on the back of the rim and it will not be a true balance, it will shake at higher speeds. I've had that problem before until I got a true balance, now the steering wheel never shakes

Before assuming it's the wheels that are fault (though they may be), make sure you check the rest of your steering gear. Make sure your CV joint boots aren't torn, check for play in your tie rod ends, and look over your bushings for severe dry rot.

Just ask for an advanced static ballance. They will put weights on the inside and outside of your wheel for one and for two they will determine the heaviest point on your tire and rim seperatly and then mount the tire and rim appropriatly to minimize the number of weights needed to ballance. Its kinda crazy but discount tire co did and it and I watched them. After that my car rides smooth as silk all the way up to 110 :)

It could be just rocks in your the tred of your tires. My wheel shakes to but its cus of my tires, thay have good tred and pick up rocks. The rock are the same size as the weights and throw of the ballance of the rim. If a pick all the rocks its fine, it only shakes at high speeds but not to bad.
