I just put my car in the body shop to fix when a uninsured lady hit my car in the same place, total was about 2200, but mine was just a little worse than yours.

you may or may not have to get a new left quarter panel. Depending on the damage, they might be able to pop it out, mud it up, prime it and paint it and blend it in. If its a new quarter..you're looking at some big bucks. If not, should be rather in-expensive.

How does it happen? I've gotten something like that before too when I came out from my dorms for a drive and found something similar done to my car. Does people back out and turn too fast and end up hitting the car or something? That's kinda stupid...

EDIT: Did someone really kick it? Judging from the marks on your rear bumper, it looked more like a scrape from a car backing out...

the scrapes on the bumper was on account of me. some stupid broad parked in front of my driveway, and when i went to back out, i hit her.

haha yeah, it's really kicked in. haha why would i lie? anyway, i tried to fix it myself by beating at it with a hammer from inside the trunk. wrong move. hahahah it made it even worse. its all crinkly and the paints peeling. haha. this has been a bad week.
im buying primer tonight so it wont rust.

Now you forced yourself to go the expensive route.

Paintless dent removal wouldve been able to finesse that out.....not anymore though.

Oh, and thats what the rearview mirror is for! Duh. So its the stupid broads fault for you not watchin where youre going?

Some guy at my work has a blue corolla, someone clearly backed into him (exact same spot). My work is soooo worried about privacy and lawsuits, that they refused to let anyone view the security tapes. I would have gotten a court order to force them to release the tapes. I also would have gone around to every car in the parking garage and looked for blue paint on a bumper. The whole thing is gated, so only employees can get in there. Hope you have good insurance, too bad you don't live in San Diego, I'd hook you up with the best body shop in the country at a great price.

And don't feel too bad, look at my signature, that happened 1 week after I bought my car. It happens to the best of us, you'll be ok in the end and the rolla will be nice and shiny new.
