most likely itll be ugly, get 45mpg, cost 17k$, and optional hybrid engine. i dont know really, thats just waht i think.

If Toyota sticks to their current plan, the next Corolla will have as much balls as a prepubescent choir boy. They really need to come strong with a performance version (ie, 220+hp stock) of either the Corolla or the tC.

I wish they would just lop two cylinders off of the 2JZ block to make it a 4 banger, stick that in the Corolla and call it a day.

Toyota is going to have to pull something out there ass to beat Honda at the present moment. These new Si and SiR (K20A) are incredible cars and toyota is looking at a powerhouse of a civic. The 3s motor sounds like fun or TRD can just make the mounts for a 2zz in a corolla an aftermarket part. That would be even more crunk.

odds are toyota is going to continue to attack the cheap gas market with the rolla.. thats the better market for them unfortunately for us toyota guys.

corolla gets the best mileage for any car its size. They got the prius, plus they are doing the camry hybrid, which, according to motor trend, actually spanks the accord hybrid. its a tad slower, but its also got a 4 instead of a 6, feels faster, runs close to just as fast, and has helluva lot better mileage than the accord. since the accord is running such a small electric motor since they wanted to put the 6 instead of the 4 in.

I forsee mainly body changes, maybe some slight changes to help effeciency and maybe boost power by 5 HP...

if you checked out toyota site lately they are ready to release the Yaris 4 door
outside the car looks like minature new solara or new camry, inside also looks pretty sweet but it comes with 1.5L engine squeazing out 106HP, so looks but no power

new rolla,prob gonna look like something you put your kids in to go to school in the morning..more efficient,more functional,not yellow with a black hood,and a little faster (than your average school bus..)

2.0 motor would be nice to have on a corolla.

toyota is being gay right now... no more supra, no more celica, no more mr2 with a 3sgte engine in it... i wouldnt be surprised if they murder the next corolla... to me, the best looking corolla is the 01-02... and it sucks coz they only released that for 2 years... oh also the xrs... i didnt see it at the chicago auto show... so im thinking they're not gonna sell it no more... same reason the celica wasnt there...

no more supra, no more celica, no more mr2...but with 2GR-FSE Corolla hopefully

wont be any changes to the tc soon.. there is a special edition one for the past 2 years but as far as i know nothing is in the works untill at least 08
