    Tire Size 02 Corolla

On my 2002 Corolla, when I have like 2 people in the back the back end drops down and the tires rub the fender well, is this normal. I bought the car with 14's on them and the tire size is 185/65/r14 I wanted 17's which would be 205/40/17 but will that make the rubbing worse with 17x7s what shold I do I want to have people in the back..

suspension upgrade.... im' shocked that ur stock tire rubs like that.... doesn't sound normal, probably very worn out suspension.
Back when i had stock suspension with 40-50k on the car and my 16's running 205/45/16 tire it used to rub, but then i got my car lowered an inch and even lowered it doesn't, well it does but only with extreme corner......

Stiffer, new suspension should do the trick though

Are you lowered? If not, then that's not normal at all.
I'm lowered with Stech (about 2") with 15" on my 01, I never have problem with only 2 ppl at the back, 3 ppl is another story, haha.

Thats strange if your not lowered. You most likely have worn struts, you need to replace them.

problem would also be offset. and roll your fenders.

Don't want to roll my fenders, Plus I have seen corollas with 17's that don't have the fenders rolled

It all depends on the offset.

If your rubbing you got the wrong offset, time for new rims with a new offset which I think is +42, cause I am on 17's and have not rolled yet and have no rubbing probs.

I see alot of 98-02 rollas/prizms that are riding way too low in the back. The stock rear struts must go out kinda fast. Mine weren't too bad, but i sure do see alot of them around town with the rear tires buried in the wheelwells, with nobody in the back.
