I'd say that it all depends... but if you have a corolla, I'm gonna assume (off the bat) that they don't fit... what are the specifics of both the 2 way and 4 way speakers... are you planning to run them off the deck or off an amplifier... that sort of deal...

Well, what DO you want to do with your set up anyway?... You going for car show quality, full system, or "as long as it sounds good to me?" Also, that doesn't answer any of our previous questions about the specifics of both the 4 way and 2 way speakers...

...And by Specifics you mean what?? Whats the overall best sound. I'm not taking it to a carshow, I just want the best sound between 2 way and 4 way.

watch out for the front speakers.... so far the only speaker i know that fits ok up front is the polk db series speakers. I tried other speaker but the magnet is too big and it interferes wit the window....

Specifics would consists of the RMS, peak power handling... you know... stuff that's listed on the box of the speakers... you don't want to end up getting the 4 way speakers and have them grossly underpowered. Mounting depth is also an issue as ghost rider said. Pay attention to things like that and it'll save you a world of pain and fustration later!

Also, if I had to make my judgement from the information you've given me/us thus far... I'd say the 4 way...

    -EDIT-

Also, what brand of speakers were you looking at. Personally, I've never come across a 6 1/2" speakers that were 4 way.
