I can't believe this place is still alive?

You people manage to hang in there don't you? Very respectable. Keep doing what your doing, although most people find it pointless to mod a corolla(including me) I find it very cool that people are still trying to find ways to stay with the competition. I don't see to many familiar people besides Eric so most people will not care, but..enjoy what you got, do what you like the best to your car and don't let people pursuade(sp?) you of anything different.

Is Civiceater is still around here? Man him and I would go nonstop, it was absurb now that I think about it.

It's understandable that people will move on to new cars, but I think I'm always going to keep my rolla as a 2nd/project car even when I get something else.

Ahh..oh well, I came with good intentions anyway.

It'll probably get the best gas mileage of any other car you'll get at least!

I will keep my Rolla forever :) Because I don't think anyone would buy it because nothing on it is stock anymore :)

well jbmayes2000...it's just two different forums dealing with the same car bro, seems to be a lot of hate going on between the two sites, no one seems to like having two...I don't get it...I post on two different forums for nissan...

My opinion is the two different forum designers should keep their individuality...but whatever...instead of just posting the people seem to try to be taking over the boards and keep telling everyone what they need to do i.e. join the forums...but yeah, i just post and leave the politics out of it...eh there's a whole thread on that topic anyway.

As to what up with corolla's...It's a love thing...kinda like my good ol accord...she's been to good to me. I kinda wanna update her just so the car could keep up more with my driving style.

Only reason I'de get another car would be if the engine in my honda gave out...which won't happen for like...another 150k...maybe the rings will start to go by 300k...at that time...rolla for me.

still not a sports car...but you can deff. tune them to keep up even on a budget

I guess that's the appeal...they can be fun to drive and you can make 'em a little morefun...but even after that...they are still very gas efficient and last for a looong time.

    <---ToyRolla

    Brief history..

This place was created when the C3 Racing forum came down. This place was great at first. After a while this forum kept coming down for various reasons, people got tired of it coming down and the guys who made Corollatoys (i think) made VVT-i.net to replace this one when it was down. David (Hooolala, the owner of this place) somehow got this forum back up and was upset about there being a VVT-i.net. There were people who backed David, and there were people who backed the other sites owner (can't remember his name).

I don't really see much animosity between members of either place at all. Everyone has their preference but they don't make it known in some unnecessary way. At least, not since the other forum went up and then this one came back up. I do prefer the other site though. Actually I prefer 9thgencorolla to all these sites.

    -----

On the topic of modding Corollas, I've actually got a good thing going with my 05 XRS.. Its not fast really, but I'm starting to like it alot more than the 01. Thing is, as soon as I had known I was able to get the really good financing through Toyota, I wish I had tried my luck with an Evolution because I probably could have financed one. oh well....

Wellll that sucks..but sometimes some people gotta do what they gotta do. It sucks there had to be two but..thats how shit happens sometimes. I think both will be fine.

Ehh.. 02 Camry..nothing special..I'm looking now, as I have to get my own car by december. A buddy of mine saw a 56 Ford Pickup that was primered and in good shape for like 1500 or so, apparently it's an old ladies's husband who was working on it but died and she knows something about car value so..might be a good by, I have to go check on it this weekend probably.
What about you, what you drivin now?
