bought the brakes from a friend who gets them straight from japan. around 8k pesos for all four including installation (for everybody else's info, $1=55 pesos). it should cost about the same if you get them in banawe or evangelista or any other auto surplus shop.

Hey! legobrainboy, can you give me all the info. for that brake coz i'm going to ask my brother to buy me the rear brake for my 00' corolla. Appreciate it very much if you can. Do you know some name of the surplus store back there in the phils. especially in banawe.

What's your email addy? this way we can email each other coz, i need to know if your friend can get a WALD bodykit for a Honda Odyssey 99'-04 year model from japan or if somebody sells them there.

Is that car same dim. as a 98-02 usdm corolla? Maybe if they are we could have some front end swaps...

yep! same dimensions... so yeah, i think a front end swap wouldn't be too difficult. it's the rear-end that's kinda tricky. the C-pillars would have to be cut at the exact same spot on both cars.

4 months and around 200,000 pesos... that's around US$3,700. hehehehe! not to mention time and gas spent going all over the place to look for parts.

but i have to say it was all worth it. she's running better than ever and that little 1300cc is now a bonafide 1600cc killer. :D
