I got some news today..........they gave me the option if I want it totaled or they can give me 75% of what the car is worth and try to get it fixed.........I cant total out my baby so I took the money option. They are cutting me a check for 6450. The parts are not going to be a problem but I dont know how much it is going to cost me to get the rad support and the other stuff pulled out for me to put new parts back on it.

good luck with your car, I know how you feel. My beater's been too good to me, I had mine totalled cause someone pulled in front of me...so I got paid too...

Quick question...have you looked to see if you can find a same model car as yours for pretty cheap? Then you could just put all your mods on it and then parts out your other car...could work out to be cheaper...or less...or less effort..

    But crossin fingers for ya!

dayumm.... that sucks man. A old person wrecked my dads Toyota once, he bought the car off the insurance and he fixed it and sold it again hehe Its funny enterprise rented u a camry, becuase thats why they gave my dad. I say constantly old people should be checked to see if they can drive, so many accidents have been caused by the senior community. I've been in a few almost accidents that would of been caused by old people. Once i was driving and i had to make a left, some old couple cuts around me on my right and just crosses right in front of me and takes a left. Like it was allright or something, well i was in my dads new Tundra and i tailed this guy for a little, i got tired of driving 15mph lol. Anyways, Sorry to hear about ur loss

ye sorry to hear about it. i hope u get it fixed soon man. DSGN is right - in germany every driver over 65 has to retake the driver's test - and 2/3 of the people fail. so its not surprising that old people here get into so many accidents. maybe if they had that here we could drive at autobahn speeds with no problems.
