    paint removal

hey whats up guys, just wondering what is the best chemical if any, to use to remove paint off of painted interior. both plastic and vinyl. If you look at my car domain, i have both plastic and vinyl pieces painted, and i am looking to sell my car, and want to return my car to as stock as possible. Just something i am pondering on. i was thinking maybe nail polish remover with acetone?

I know most of the paint stripper will work. But I don't think it's good to use them on vinyl.

I think most people who has removed paint from a vinyl dash have used paint thinner. Now that is going to take it off, no problem, however, it is going to look "foggy" once you are done, in most cases. Not sure what you can do from there. I'm sure some cleaners and other chemicals will bring it back to normal.
Acetone on the other hand, is an amazing little molecule. Use it tons in the lab etc/etc for experiments and especially drying and cleaning. I have noticed that it is a little harsh on vinyl (had a binder sitting on a bench and someone bumped over a beaker with my drying acetone, and the finish got really screwed on the binder (color and texture).
Soo... test it out before if you really do plan on using acetone.
