    Ever heard of B+G Springs

In my hunt going spring shopping i found these (I'm choosing springs for my 89 civic h/b).. The dude was supposed my fax my friend the price sheet for the H&R springs, and instead faxed in the B+G prices.. so, anyone got any experience with this brand? I can read their website all damn day and it still doesn't come close to first hand.. and i don't feel like being a guiney pig really..

I'm not really sure, but I think someone asked this before and it came out just some cheapo ebay brand things.

well sean2sean.. would be nice.. but i'm not bout to drop an easy grand on a car a paid $400 for.. well, i might, but my wife might bury me for it ;-)

as for my set up.. I've got a set of KYB GR-2's.. I wanted AGX's but $$$ the common denominator here. I wanted H&R Race springs, but my wife's bitchin bout that (too low and too stiff for here), so I'm doing sports, but I can get the B+G's for a bit cheaper... so.. thats why i'm asking..

B&G's make alot of springs for Honda/Acura products, suppose to be a decent brand with a decent ride, but I don't know since i've never tried them...

I believe Pete (Supershyguy) on Corollacustomz got them with Tokicos and most of the members there seem to like the ride. If I remember correctly, he also ran H & R before switching to these.

I had them on my 97DX years back, since I wanted something stiffer and lower than eibach, but not a full 2" drop. Honestly I loved them. The ride was stiffer than Eibach/KYB, yet more than tolerable and the drop was perfect. Everyone who saw the car thought it was more than a 1.6" drop though for some reason. I actually got mine through an old CC member. Can't remember his name though, the guy with the 4AGZE swap and the yellow ITR that was stolen.

Anyways yes, I highly recommend them, although I think they'd be better suited for use with Tokico's instead of the KYB GR2's I used with them.
