Kentucky cops - just venting...

So get this. As most of you know, my car is loud and i like to drive fast. Well mainly speed limit but get to it fast by flooring it. And then i drive 5 over on certain roads. So nothing is really illegal with my speed or anything.

Well thursday night, i come home. I pass a regular cop as he turns into walmart, and i pass him at speed limit. I make turn right past walmart to come to my house. Drive little speedy but nothing over limit. I get on final road that is about a mile to my street. I look in my mirror and see a car coming. And im paranoid at night with cops, so i go EXACTLY 45 when i saw a car in the distance. Normally i got 50. Well about 1/10 or 2/10ths of a mile before my street, hes on my ass. Its a cop as i suspected. He tails me, i turn on my street using turn signal, and go 20, which is the limit. He is right on my ass. I was gonna park infront of my house, but i decided to pull in drive way. So i put turn signal on and make my turn in driveway (right turn). The cop stops, instead of going around. As i pulled competley on drive way he moves slowly. I see Sherif on side. I live in the county so only sherifs can pull me over. He drives off up street and i go inside.

So last night, in another city, im driving back to my city. There is a 3 lane road, and im in right lane. A guy in old box style car comes up beside like he wants to race. I speed up a bit to get over cause my lane ends. He speeds up, i slow down, he slows down. So finally i downshift and gun it as he is still slowing down. Fly by him and im doing 70 at that point. Speed limit is at a 45-55 speed change right around there. So as soon as the lane ends and im over doing 70. There are 2 cops sitting in middle of 4 lane road waiting for speeders, cause lots people speed. I said shit, slow down to 55 cause its speed limit at the point. I see cops swing around after me. There is a van in left lane, little infront of me. That asshole was behind me. The cops pull up to next to both of us and put their lights on. The van swirves over to emergency lane to be pulled over. I follow and asshole follows. The cops drive on all the way for 3 miles. They pass a road that takes them to a shortcut. And they turn the long way around to that road. Like they were just being assholes scaring us about it. I would of told cops what happend. But thats bull shit they are gonna do that. For one time cops have messed with me, i wish they actually would of pulled us over so i could of told them what that guy was doing.

Sorry for ranting and raving. But that just really pissed me off. Cause i actually didnt do anything illegal for once and the cops are profiling and being dicks about things.

No, i wasnt following them. The road eventually turns into a long straight road. And they were at the very top and end of the road. Which was about 2-3 miles away from where they passed me. Since it was night time, i could see there lights still on at top of hill in distance. And they could of just cut across another street to get where that road would of taken them, in 1/2 the time. And there was nothing out the way they went but woods. So they were on that important of a run if there was really a call they had to take. But just so happens to be right when i pass them. Thats why i think they were being dicks about it.

And i wasnt racing, and yes im sure they have heard that before. The guy was speeding up and slowing down everytime i did.

But the fact that thursday night i was followed and cop watched me pull in my drive way then decided to sit there as i pulled in, then leave was bull shit to.

Sorry, just had to vent and i just rambled it. Some may understand some may not.

dood doesn't matter what the situation is, cops do take advantage of their priviledges msot of the time, they run red lights and shit and just do w/e they please man it's bullshit and I don't really care what the rest here in the board think but cops suck in every way possible.

Yea, thats true and there supposed to be "role models", thats what I tell cops when they pull me over for doing 80 in a 65 while I am driving next to them.

I've seen them run a red light. Hell, one ran a light/stop sign and totaled my best friends car. I'm glad she was in a Caddy at the time and not a small compact.

Nope, no lights or siren. The car got totaled and my friend got paid $1000 even though they had just finished putting much more than that into the car getting the engine fixed.

See that's what I'm talking about, maybe you've never seen it man but many of us out here have lol, cops suck maybe not all of them but still u know.... well at least they save my ass from crime everyday so I'm thankful by that part but totallin my car I'd sue his ass for everythin he's got

And yea thats speeding, but the cop is doing it too, whats the difference between him and me. We both have to follow to rules of the road, unless his lights and etc. are on

I see cops run red lights and stop signs all the time up here, especially late at night... i've had cops pass me on the highway, no lights or sirens, when I was doing 125kmh (speed limit is 110), and they we're doing a good 140~145kmh... just... wow... good example...

Ive seen cops speed like crazy, run red lights etc, but the way I see it is this. We all tend to take notice of the "bad cops" because they're doing things they shouldnt and drawing our attention. There are however many more cops who are simply out there doing their jobs the right way all the time, putting themselves in harms way for us, but their actions dont stick out like a sore thumb the way those of the bad cops do. So dont go saying "cops suck, they're all pigs", because some day you may need that good cop around.

maybe my view is different because I come from a family of cops / law enforcement, or maybe its because every one of my situations involving cops has been a good one, or at least one in which I treated the cop well and with the utmost respect, and thus received the same treatment in return.

And I know I was speeding, and I wasn't defending my speeding, I was pointing out how they we're breaking the law... which happens alot around here... so don't try to turn it around, because i never said it was ok for me to speed or defended my speeding...

Most FL interstates are 70mph..I love it..

I think the most here in CO that I've seen is like 75 mph that's all.... maybe there are some other roads that are 85 but I doubt it
