    2000 ce turboed...

uhm my personal worst is around 17 mpg (170 miles on 10 gallons) right after I got my turbo with a sh*tload of gunning....

Average is around 28 - 30 mpg if i dont floor it too much....

If im throttle happy I may get to 25 or if I do all highway I might get as high as 34 or so...

    2002 S 5-speed

    I get between 450-550km on about 45 liters ( 10-12.2 km/L ).
That is the difference between keeping the revs up a lot vs just sometimes.
And that is on 17 inch rims at 24 lbs a piece.

I expect huge gains when I switch back to my steelies.

I don't know about the Corolla, but when I put full synthetic in my car, it made a 100% difference.

So you doubled your gas mileage? That'd have to be some really amazing oil to do that....

No, the car ran so muc smoother. I have been averaging around 40 MPG city. Which is almost 8 MPG over the standard. The Full Synthetic oil, KandN, and the turbo air box thing have all worked very well.

Just thought that I would check in ... 31,000 miles on the car now. Lifetime average MPG is 39.1 MPG. Also, with gas prices back up, I got more frugal and bested myself ... last tank I got 45.2MPG! Same methods as before, but I drove more in the 55-60 range and did a lot of coasting ;)

i fuel up around $40cdn a week... but my car don't get good milage due to the stupid left front inner bearing by the CV joints cuz its f-ck again... fixed once already and i told my mechanic that after the first week of replacing that bearing, it was makin noises again and the sound comes front the same place... but he said wait till makes more sound... i was like uh wtf... and now its making that sh!tty noises again and its robbing my gas milage..

any 7th gen members hav left front bearing f-ck up all the time??

Lets see I get between 25-40 mpg, depending on my driving habit and if its highway or not.

Easy example is that I drove from Niagra Falls, NY right over the border to Market Street in Delaware on 10 gallons of gas, it was a 400 mile trip.

But I normally am getting 30 mpg, highway driving being easy on the gas

02 Corolla, Cat-back exhaust, lowered on blown struts, 205/40/17's oil changed reguraly with synthetic, intake
