    Coupes Reinvented?

I really wish Toyota would bring back the original style of the celicas, supras and even the MR2. I mean Fords got the new Mustang, Dodge is trying with the Charger and Toyota should jump on it. BTW I work for Honda Shhh :p and they are releasing the hottest Civic I've seen in quite a while. The things got navigation system and xm radio and it looks pretty sporty. I think the old addage whats old is new again is in effect. I love my classic Supra and would love to see a comeback :)

well I wish they would too I LOVE the Supra and MR2, but Toyota's never going to do it. They were discontinued in the first place because they were low-volume cars that made Toyota little/no $$$. Toyota should try and come out with a real sports car again, although I feel like it would look like crap compared to an MR2 or Supra.

Toyota's motorsport legacy died in the 90's. Now begins toyota's olds(people)mobile history.

Tell me what you guys think.

I've been toyota fan for many years, and to me, its getting disappointing to see in the direction that Toyota is heading with performance. Ive seen Honda lead the way with performance, so im jumping on that bandwagon until Toyota decides to come up with sportier performance for the 2 vehicles that need it...Rolla XRS & tC. And the at the rate Toyota has been selling vehicles, I dont think its going to happen anytime soon. Until then...im hanging up my Yota shoes.

I like how it looks, but that spoiler looks like something they acquired from Pepboys or Kragen for like $50 (The Type-R crap).

Toyota is moving the sports car segment over to the Lexus line. Heard of the Lexus LF-A? The Supra just got way too expensive (although, the LF-A will be 2X what the Supra was/is). It'll be 2 inches shorter than the Porche 911, with a 9 inch LONGER wheelbase. Over 500hp from a V10 engine with less than a 5.0L displacement and less than 3000 pounds. Pure goodness!

I'm diggin the pics of the new Si - one of the best looking things Honda has produced in a long time. Helps make up for the Honda Ugly, I mean Honda Element.

And thank God they did away with that weird ass angled shifter coming out of the fucking dashboard. That was so ghey.

Well, do you blame toyota.. when ur flagship is the # selling car in america, and they are making tons of money and tons of market share selling to the oldies... but just wait.. the millenia generation (aged 4-24) spend billions of dollars a year already, and there are 33% more of us.. so once those boomers start really dying out, they are going to have to shift their focus to us (where the money is at)...
though i might keep my eye on scion.. car companies are notorious for starting off with something simple before really beefing it up (I.E. SS was originally just a trim package for chevy's, before it finally built up to the classic SS's that everyone wants to get, w/ the big engines, massive muscle, and hot rod styling.. all under 15 tons ;-) )

honestly, i'm on the feel with nissans right now.. the manual 3.5 S altima's, 350z's, SeR's, etc.. and mitsu got the right idea.. still not a big fan of honda, minus crx's and accord v6 coupes..

I know I'll get flamed but it looks a bit like a cross between Redline Saturn and an Acura TL
