    Blue LED Center Console Lights

Only green in my car now is that damn clock. I made a day of it and soldered 10k MCD 3mm LEDs into everything and put 5LED matrix LEDs into the HVAC (one blue, one white to keep the HVAC red from looking purple). The OEM LEDs were, surprisingly, by far the easiest (and lowest quality... cheap Toyota). Made some custom contraptions for the screw in bulbs, very odd looking contraptions. Nonetheless, they work and look great. The hardest were the lights behind the HVAC (climate controls). I had to screw in that empty plastic base and then insert and fasten my LED into it. Was a real pain but definitely worth it... No hot spots at all. Matrix LEDs are ingenious. I don't know if anyone knows this as I haven't seen it posted but, the shift light in automatics is a 194 bulb, so I just popped a 6LED bulb in there and it looks fantastic. Actually, I took a flathead and bent the outer LEDs a little outward to illuminate everything evenly. If anyone plans to do something like this, make sure to sand down all of your 3mm LEDs so that the top is flat; It'll disperse the light a lot better. I'll have pics soon, maybe two weeks or so. Don't have my digital camera right now as the girlfriend is in Europe with it. I strongly recommend this mod for anyone who knows how to solder. If you don't know how, learn. LOL. Interior looks 100% better!

You ever thought about putting LEDS in your air vents? When I was running my interior lights it dawned on me, but I didn't know how feezible it was or if it would even be worth doing.

Yeah, already done. Did it a while back. Real easy, too! Just screw a little hole up under the air vent, tape/glue your LED in, and run the wire to the cigarette lighter. Definitely worth it. Looks great in my opinion. Maybe better off running it to a switch, though...
