i think that these would look fine if u like the glossy type and if black goes well with the color of your car.

As far as quality goes, they seem fine. I've never been a fan of black glossy rims myself, but if you like them, I'd say go for it cause they may look good with the color scheme your going for on your car. Good luck

i think those wheels are kinda crappy. 21lbs for a 17? thats kinda heavy. But hey if you like em then knock yourself out.

Yea. I'd have to agree. 21 lbs is heavy. I have a set of 15 inch rota slipstreams weigh only 12 lbs. Car handles a lot better as you can see the big difference in the weight ratios. If your going for performance, this wheel wouldn't be the best choice. If your going for show, this wheel would be ok.

    21lbs isnt bad...

OK guys..for those of you talking smack about how "heavy" that is...then YOU help this guy out. Show him where he can get a 17" rim that weighs considerably less than 21lbs for the $125/wheel price range? Take a look at the wheels on discount sites like tirerack or tires.com ..their wheels cost more and weigh more.

You could fill yer tires with helium to take off a pound or two....

LMAFO, this is 5 lbs, for like $800 less.... face it the only reason you would really need lighter wheels is so you can tell your buds how light they are.

Here's an idea in that regard... LIE!

    I disagree there buddy, Vortex's Corolla runs a 13 in the 1/4 dood, he keeps up with my buddie's 04' Yamaha YZF600R so I wouldn't say we don't have potential cause hell if we do <img src="http://vvti.net/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Big Grin" />

actually, heavier wheels decrease more than just your acceleration. They are harder on your brakes, can increase your stopping distance, and increase tire wear. Is this something you're going to notice considerably, probably not. but, it still is a consideration.

as for a lighter weight wheel... try the enkei dm5.. discounttiredirect.com $131 a wheel...

and dude.. if you want some better rims for not bad, i can get you a set of 17's w/ tires for $820 + shipping... name brand stuff, not motegi which u can buy at pep boys

Maybe you should try some 15" Konig Helium or even Rota slipsteam or subzero before you say so.

haha WRONG! I have a vid right here of a 94 Single turbo Supra beating a Hayabusa.

and a 250 beating a ~14 second car. I doubt that. Don't call BS unless you know what you're talking about.
