amplifier mounting question

amplifier mounting question

Hello all,

I was wondering if somebody can give me information on how to properly mount my amp behind the rear seat. My amp at the moment is mounted on my sub box and it is rattling everytime the subs hit hard. I tried to put cushioning but it still did not help. Somebody suggested to mount the amp behind the back seat.

Do I mount it directly on the back seat using screws? Are the back of the rear seats wood where I can just screw it on? do I need special mounting equipment?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

plywood into the metal pieces behind the seat, cover plywood in carpet of your choosing, mount amps to plywood. can look very good if done right.
