9005/9006 PIAA Light Bulbs

Has someone change from the OEM head light bulbs (high or low beam) to PIAA light bulbs in a Corolla 2003? Does it work?

It worth the extra bucks of Xtreme White Plus instead of Star White?

Are there a better light bulbs for the money than PIAA?

    Thanks

    Silverstars for 9006 and 9005.
I put 9006 silver stars into my mom's 05 rolla and it makes a world of a diff from stock. They have a slight tint of blue and are very bright. They are now alot closer to the far beams in terms of amount of light.
I will be putting the 9005 as the far beam silver stars pretty soon.

PIAA is a rip, see the HIR section of the post here, and do not do the 9006 and 9005 swap again see the other post,

you would get better results going HIR...also the focal lenth is different between the 9006 and 9005, you would get backscatter and gain nothing...
http://www.hirheadlights.com/ (best alternative to HID)
They've been on there ever since january something. She has day time running lights and she drove in the summer alot during the day so those took a beating and are still as bright as day one

Mine have been in since last december i think and i have my daytime running lights disabled in my 00 rolla. I didn't have a problem with my lights so far.
