    whats so special about x-cad? say...compared to solidworks or pro/e?

    Im an engineer that uses pro/e all day, and I highly doubt that by giving away software it's going to get them popular.. It would have to be one hell of a CAD package (and cheaply priced) to have anyone switch.. CAD seems to have been established 15 years ago, so it's pretty much autocad/mechanical desktop, Cadkey/solidworks, or pro engineer (there's a few strays out there like solid edge).
