Ipod hack -- direct link to console

    mine's hooked through the back of the stereo...people really don't need to go and buy those crazy expensive units they sell for iPods.

    isn't that the FM modulator?

    hardwiring the iPod is far, FAR better sounding than the FM units.

    yeah, that is better, but it's a HELL of a lot more expensive than the $25 it cost me to hook up my unit :D

    it may be a LITTLE better (not far, FAR better) but with the iTrip you can listen to your mp3's anywhere there is a radio, and you dont have to ghetto rig everything if your way..

    to each their own :) i just didn't like the sound of the iTrip in my car...returned it the day i bought it. my antenna might be having problems, but the static was rediculous.

    maybe it was faulty...my cousin had his in his car and my friend was ahead of him and i was in the car behind him.. all 3 cars were able to hear his tunes.

    yea, i got tha iTrip. another good thing about it is u can program any and all radio stations on it. giving u lotsa flexibility.

    itrip works good in less densely populated but in places like L.A. with lots of radio signals it doesnt work that well at all. The monster radio transmitter works the best in those areas since it is powered from the car not the ipod. (i worked in my school computer store and have sold many of these things trust me)

    i've heard of even more issues with the Monster. the ONLY person i've heard who got it to work is my fiance's boss.
