    u know the insulation stuff under the hood does it help or does the hot air stay inside more cuz if not i have use for it ty

    It's there for sound deadening... if you can live with a louder engine, take it off...

    Took mines off and all I hear is the motor more, which does not bother me, it also made the underside of the hood cleaner
