I have tried so many white bulbs to match the super white headlight. But none of them are white enough. The only bulb that is white enough is LED. But it is not bright enough.

Ya i fear LED's being dim. White flashing bulbs are legal in CA. I just got a fix it ticket for my blue ones and he said white or amber is fine

LED's will be a pain up the butt to get working correctly, I spent 40 bucks on a pair of LED bulbs with SuperFlux style LED's on them. Not nearly bright enough, and wayyy too many headaches to get working correctly. If you want them to work properly, you'll need to do some rewiring and splice in some load balancers so your blinkers don't go rice on you.

I've got HID's so white flashers clash, I've got the silverstar amber signals that look blueish/silver when they're off, but burn amber.

I love my Silverstars! He's right, they look bluish amber but flash amber and are perfect if you wanna be legal and pass inspection (Virginia) but keep that sleek look.

I use Hybrid bulbs, they are kind of like polarg. I'm not too worried about color (for law purposes). My headlights cost me something like $12, and my corner bulbs were about $15 a piece. They are super bright white. Especially the blinker part. If you want to do it right, get these. I use Nokya headlight bulbs, which are also very blue and bright, usually too blue for most people. But again, if you're going to do it, go all the way.

The only thing I warn about LEDs is that if you use them in your turn signals you will need to buy load equalizers for them to function. Which is another cost ($5-10 each, one for each side) plus installation (simple wire splice). I'd have LEDs myself if I wasn't so cheap/lazy. I have LED interior and it is killer.

For LED, you gotta have it done right to have it look right. Otherwise, it's really dim.

Yeah, those Nokya's are some bright ass shit. I have brand new headlamp housing on my car, which I polish, so mine are super ass bright. I don't care what anyone says, it's excellent. It lights up half the garage at my work.

I have an 03' Altis and have blue LEDs in my rear turn signal housings. I purchased matching Blue LEDs for the front housings tomatch my blue HID conversion kit, but it blew fuse # 15 in the circuit board. Cost my 5 bucks to replace the fuse, but it will continue to blow the fuse if I tried it again. Apparently the 03' corolla can only handle on pair of LED light bulbs in the turn signals. I would be interested in this equalizer thing your talking about. E-mail me or private message me w/e.

    Thanks.
