    Crazy shipping Time!

Man, just finished ordering the new INJEN intake for the Scion TC today. Nopi said it was so popular, that it's going to take 2wks to ship instead of the usually 1 or less. The thing just came out, and it's already being sold out. Damn! Anyway, here are the specs. on it.

    KEY FEATURES:
    - Two-Piece design for ease of installation
    - Tri- Step Process
    - Able to convert to short ram
    - D yno Tuned Flange
    - Gains of up to 12hp/9 ft-lbs of torque

Irronically, it was cheaper than the Weapon R SRI, and only $1 more expensive than the K&N. So, I don't have that opinion when purchasing from them. Of course I price shop. And the search came back with an avg. price of $269, which Nopi's price was cheaper than that. As of right now, they are the only ones I have found that carry this one, because it's brand new. RacingSolution said that he will be adding it to their inventory as soon as possible.

Nopi is known to advertise something, take money for it, and then delay the shipping because the product isnt actually released to the public yet.

They screwed me over on the Autometer Cobalt guages...took 300 bucks, charged my card, then sent me something saying that they would be released and shipped in 4 weeks. 12 weeks later, I still didnt have my guages, and they still had my money. Finally, after a weeks ordeal, they credited back my money, minus a 20% fee because I was backing out on the deal, which I thought was mega shitty because they didnt deliver when they said they would.

Ill never shop with Nopi again....Ive ALWAYS found what Im looking for for cheaper somewhere else.

Well, it's actually my future wifes TC. Since she is the one for me, and we have plans of marriage, you might as well say it's my TC too. I bought the intake, but with her credit card. I'm not sure if you remember the girl that I was with when we had that meet in Nashville. Well, that's not the one. I think I told you that it didn't work out between me and her. Anyway, I still have the Rolla, and it's still a WIP. But I'm not sure if I want to just use it as a beater and focus on the TC, since it has greater support and potential in the aftermarket.

By the way, I'll be adding a GSX-R600 to our little family of vehicles in late June/beginning of Aug.

sweet dude, yea I remember that girl, I remember that it was a bad breakup too. Married life is good, I wouldn't trade it, just make sure she is your best friend, and that she doesn't come after your boys b/c that won't work. I say keep the rolla, take the seats out and treat it like a civic ....hehehe, the GSX-R600 is a sah-weet bike, be careful dude

Man....I'm sorry you have had a bad experience with them. I have the exact opposite service. Whenever I order something, it gets to me pronto! I am shocked and amazed everytime I place an order with them, as to how fast it gets to me. NO LIE! I don't know, maybe it has something to do with the fact that I'm just one state away from them(TN). So, the shipping distance is about as good as it gets with out living in Atl. However, I have spoken with a rep. from Injen as well, and they also have it posted on their website as being available. So, I don't have a problem there. It's funny you mentioned about the AutoMeter Cobalt series gauges, cause I just recently ordered an A/F in the same gauge series. I recieved it in about 4 business days.

ps. I will say this though, Nopi's description of the product is not correct. It says it's a SRI, when infact it's a CAI that can convert into a SRI. And when I questioned the Nopi rep., he said it was a SRI. So, I asked him then where do I buy the extra pipe to make it a CAI, and he said he dosen't show an extra pipe being available. So, I had to call Injen to verify that it was infact a CAI. So, I had to call Injen, get the part#, then call Nopi back and make sure that they were the same parts. Which infact it is a CAI.

Once it took about a month to get my TOMS skirts from cali, turns out the too1 that sent them used a box with an active tracking label, so when they put the label to ship to me, it had two labels on it, so it was going cali, memphis, nashville, mephis, nashville, memphis, cali, memphis, cali, memphis, nashville, finally to me, and boy were they tore up. Then the guy was like sorry dude, ...*sigh*... the skirts were ripped and torn, and had holes in it, all the pieces were there in the bubble wrap too!!!, then UPS was like we'll come and pick it up, and take it to our claims office.....like I really wanted to ship it somewhere else. I guess it's just a gamble....I know that I got my front bumper shipped via Greyhound, I paid $44 and it got here in 3 days unscathed

Oh yeah, no doubt. I still feel the hole in my chest from that breakup till this day. But I know for sure that this one is the ONE. Marriage has it's benefits too....like more tax return..LOL. I can't wait for my bike though. I have this sorta 6th sense when it comes to finding potential accidents waiting to happen when I'm driving. So, I'll be extra careful on the bike. Hey, do you have a AIM? PM me your AIM so we can chat up on cars and life sometimes.

After this get's shipped and installed, the next accquirement on the list is the Hi-power HKS cat-back exhaust. It comes in an offset style which = hotness.

Well, sorta. More deductibles/tax breaks doesnt necessarily mean more money on your tax return.
