Make sure you take a small bag, fits in the overhead compartment, put in enough clothes for up to 2 days.

Mark all luggage with something very visable. my mom puts a huge L on all of the luggage.

Money to bring, that depends on your budget, if you are going to use any kind of Credit Cards tell the company before hand where you are going.

Keep your passport and tickets in easy reach.

keep your personal stuff very secure when you are there, watch for the street vendors they might to try to scam you

If you need to use electroincs make sure you have a adapter that will comply with there plug outlets.

Thats all I can think of

    good info guys.

all i can say is take as much reading material, gadgets, and entertainment as you can in that carry-on.

the last thing you want to be on that plane is bored. i hate it. at least if you want to do other stuff like eat, watch outside the window, or whatever you have the option of whatever you bring.

good luck! keep an eye on your stuff and be safe!

Yeah, take gum to chew for the take off and landing. And you can open your mouth really wide to pop your ears.

Take a CD player and headphones, magazines, medicine.......make sure you have all of your essentials in your carry on bag, just in case they lose your bag somehow. You dont want to get stuck with nothing in a foreign country.

And dont drink at the airport (if you are of drinking age)......and watch A+E's AIRLINE to learn what NOT to do.

i think most big airlines, when flying internationaly, have little tv monitors in the headrest. And they usually give you a selection of movies, music, and other crap. Bring your own headphones, if you want I know i would. Before i'd leave I would get some american dollars exchanged for euros before i leave for the plane, you never kno when u might need it.

if you take your headphones, go to the store and look for an inline booster. It plugs in between your headphones, and the player, and gives you extra volume. You might need it if your player has a low audio volume, the plane is loud, or if that kid behind you just won't shut up........and you'll need your pass-port. Oh, and the regular flying stuff......easy-on/off shoes, clean sox, minimal jewely, might as well leave your cell phone at home, unless it's tri, extra suitcase, or room in your suitcase for the stuff you buy there. Exchange your money in the states, so you aren't screwed over there.....Oh yea.....get a journal....to note your overseas adventure :D
