Ok so yeah I have been absent from this board for about a year now (some of you may remember me). I decided to come back and check it out and it seems like I have missed some drama. Ahhh, vvti=drama always...Anyways, I think that I may get on more often now.

Nah...Im sticking with my 1 (drivers side) Sparco seat. That's the thing with this car...It's going to be as-is. I dont really want to stand out.

As for boost, I am running 8 lbs now but before I got it, it dyno'd at 249hp and 162ft lbs at 12 psi.

pretty nice sleeper, i think some red racing seats woulda stood out more, wit some takata harnesses.

That's hilarious because this car has a salvaged title because it was stolen off a dealer lot in '99 with only 200 miles on it! LOL It was stripped of body parts but the engine wasn't touched (rookies haha). Since then it was at a salvaged yard here in town and a police officer bought it and has had it ever since. I would have been a little timid to buy it but the whole engine was just rebuilt and only has 3k miles on it and a new clutch and tranny. Oh and I pretty much stole the car from him.... $7,000!!!

Nice car. Well, not many of u know me but I'm the one w/ the light purple '07 Corolla w/ the visor in the back of my car. There's two of us here in Miami w/ a visor in the back of a Corolla, one of 'em is the black Corolla S. Anyways, my last ride w/ my Corolla was May 28th. My pistons blew for the second time. A year and a half ago was the first time my pistons blew and I had 'em fix where it was ready for turbo. Well, I didn't get a chance to put my turbo and my pistons blew again, and no it wasn't from racing, lol. Well, I've decided to part ways w/ my Corolla and I'm on a hunt for a new car. I have a couple of cars in mind and yes, a Honda has come across my mind, lol. Even, need do I say this, the dreaded domestic car, Dodge Neon SRT4 has crossed my mind, lol. I'll worry about my new car when I come back from my CaLi trip. I'll miss my Corolla but oh well, I'm gonna move on w/ a new car, lol.

Yeah well, an SI is far superior to a Corolla...You just gotta face that. I mean, the 2 Corolla's that I have owned have been great on reliability but, the SI just has more pep...

Oh and I didn't sell the turbo kit seperate, it went with the car.

Awesome man. A lot of us have switched over to the "dark side". But it is all good. I only didn't to get something a little newer and save some money in the process. I really do like the SI though. I just read that the 2000 SI is the most stolen car in the US. So the insurance must suck.

That's a great looking car, man. Should be fast, and comfortable. I really like the look of those Si's, especially without a rear spoiler. And obviously black is a hot color. ; ]

nice lookin civic ya got there. Good sleeper too - wouldn't expect that centrifugal s/c under there. Must be pretty quick - get some timeslips!

Well, It's definately quicker than my Rolla (which ran a best 9.58 in the 1/8th)...But I am afraid that the track is my enemy. I &quot;broke&quot; my Rolla twice on the track. I dont know, something about launching on a track...I can launch with the best of them on the street but the track is just a different story. Im just not good at it.

becareful man, my coworkers civic si just got stolen a couple days ago right in front of his house. and what sucks is before that, he got the civic to replace his lancer evolution rs which got stolen and stripped.

now hes driving a kia rental haha
