    New projectors installed :)

pain in the ass process of removing headlights on a 9th gen requires that you partially remove the bumper:

    opinions?

I've been trying to decide whether I want to paint them to match the car or leave them black. I think I'm gonna paint em though. Would probably look better.

They do look better than stock. Looks good!

[poo-poo alert]I still don't see the point, besides blinding oncoming traffic. I hate those sonsabiches! Projectors aren't even legal here. The beam patterns suck, IMO. Kinda like those posers who drive onroad with 130w offroad lights on all the time.

the angel eyes got me.. me too, not a fan of projectors, but those do look sweet as hell, along with the new grill...

i say leave em black.. cause ya never know when u might just decide "hmmm, i think my car would like better such and such a color..." then u've got a situation...

    but still, looks nice..

thanks for all the feedback guys. as for the questions - no im not sure who actually manufactures them. im not exactly sure what qualifies some projectors as "real" ones, so i dunno if these are or not. As for quality - they're not really much brighter than the stock ones were. Somewhat odd beam pattern though - hard to explain, at close range (like when im pulling into the garage), it almost looks like it's projecting the west coast choppers logo on the wall lol.

It's a purely aesthetic mod - no improvement or hindering in visibility or anything.

edit - here's a better daytime pic (though it is huge) - makes me kinda want to leave em black as many have suggested. I would like to know how they would look painted though.

They look good but I dont think that painting them would make a difference since you have a dark color IMO keep'em black

unfortunately they are not nearly as bright as I would like them to be. At night, they're fine. During the day though, the turn signals aren't very visible unless you're directly in front of the car. I've got silverstar Ambers in there now... prob gonna order some of the hyperwhite LED ones to make up. Shuold be fine after that.

Maybe someone skilled in Photoshop can photoshop them up to match the car so he can really get an idea what they'd look like....
