    how much did you spend lowering your car?

    just curious.. how much did you spend in total lowering your car and what kind of spring and strut setup did you choose? how low? how does it ride? do u like it?

    i really hate how the car handles turns in stock form

    500 for teins and tokco. 100 for install and 60 for alignment. Had the teins swapped out for trd for another 100, bought trd springs for 180, sold the tein for 100 and did another alignment and install of camber bolts for another 100. Total = $940.00

    On my corolla......170 for eibach sportline springs...and labor i did it myself.

    On my passat....200 for eibach prokit springs, 70 bucks to install
    then 175 for neuspeed sport springs, and 400 for adjustable bilsteins
    100 for total install...got hooked up.

    425 for front and rear nuespeed sway bars.....sold the front afterwards though

    About $1100 CDN... but it's because we had to replace alot of other parts also, like the strut mounts, and other misc. parts all around... about 425$ CDN for the Tokico HP struts and 270$ CDN for the Tein H-Tech springs...

    free labor to put it in
    45 to align from a local shop.... the fuckers did not know what they were doing
    65 to the dealer to fix the alignment.... the cocksuckers never heard of camber bolts so it was not completely aligned
    180 to a wheel alignment specialist, price comes with the camber bolt I needed and alignments..... finally somebody know what they hell they are doing
    getting ready to spend 250 for some kyb struts
    hopefully another free labor
    another 65-80 bucks to re-align from the alignment specialist
    the aggravasion and frustration I had to go through just for the springs.... priceless
    good thing I had master card for everything else.

    edit: looks like the struts are the most expensive component.. anyone know the best bargain for some struts??

    and im prolly lookin for like a 1.8" drop

    springs = 100$
    installation = 50$ (i had no tools or knowledge of how suspension works)

    H&R springs + Tokico struts = $800.. tha was about a year and a half ago.. when i had my car.
