    Brake Light

Ok, so for a few months my brake light would go on for long periods of time while driving (especially at speeds over 60 MPH). The brake was off, and the light would go off, then back on for a while, then off etc....

When I had my TRD springs and KYB shocks put on, the brake light is now always on, when the brake is off. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

low brake fluid .. ? my guess is when they installed your struts, they disconnected the rear brake lines to remove the rear struts.. (they are held on by the strut) .. and reattached.. and didn't fill it up enough..

or your brake pads are wearing out and because there is less pad, it needs a bit more fluid to engauge the brakes

The light was on before I had the suspension done :/

But the light would go on like this if the pad was going bad or low fluid?

do you mean the (!) light?
If it is, then check your brake fluid. Happened to me before too. :)

hey steve.... that means your brakes are bad.... I took my car to toyota when it heppened to me.. the brake light would just come on for no reason i would always check the e-brake and it was always down.. i thought crap!!! but yeah thats when i upgraded my rotors and pads.. thought might as well spend a little x-tra one time.

no, it was the BRAKE light that is red and is on when the brake is on.
