If they are new tires, don't worry about changing them out.
www.tirerack.com and read reviews... do some research on there before you buy a tire.

in all honesty tires make a world of difference. it will be even better if you pair your new tires with a set of wider wheels. a lot of people swear by certain brands, but you really have to examine the treadwear and traction/speed ratings to determine "how much better grip" your new tires would have. don't get yokohama paradas. that's my recommendation, because I have them and they werent worth 80 a pop IMO.

I have a set of the falken ziex ze-512 and those tires are great. I have them on my rotas. Great traction and performance compared to the stock tires. I remember during the rains, with the stock tires, I could feel my car hydroplane at 50 mph. With these tires, it was pretty solid even going at 60-65 in hard rain.

I have them as well, and I am very happy with them. Have put a few thousand miles on them already.
They are really quiet as well.

yeah that's what i thought. it is a little big....sidewalls are a little bit bigger, and i know what you mean. i think it looks "balloonish" enough already as is with my stock rims and tires, and i'm afraid of how much more it would look with wider/thicker tires.
