    door wont open :(

Hi guys i have 97 corolla. well everything was working perfectly, i went to school then when i came back the door opened normally. But when i get home and i try to get off the driver door wont unlock. I press the power button to unlock all others unlock except the driver one and i try to pull the button open and it wont let me. I had to get out thru the passenger side. Then after i get out i go and disconnect the battery to see maybe if my alarm was the one that didnt want to let me unlock the door but it still wouldnt budge. I tried opening it from the outside with the key but it wont open. I tried everything to get it open but it wont open. Any ideas what might be causing this and how to get it fixed?
    thnx

    welcome to vvti...

try having your door checked by a mech who deals with electrical stuff, it might be your actuator not functioning right, thus, causing your door to remained lock, either than that, it's a mechanical problem...

that's too much bro, go to the junk yard and check this part out, i'm sure you'd find it... $ 250 bucks is just way too much...

yep.. same thing with my 2 back door locks.. i had an alarm installed and to have auto locks i had to buy motors for all doors, and my rear motors burnt out.. it is so hard to pull up the door locks to get my baby out of the back. i need to get these replaced pretty soon. hehe
