Is the Corolla Sportivo in Australia and Corolla XRS here the same cars?

    they have the same engine and tranny, but that doesn't mean they're built on the same frame. and since they're not sold in the same continent, they probably don't share a frame. That's what you should worry about on whether or not a strut bar will fit. They can have the exact same suspension setup, but if the XRS is 4" wider than the sportivo, then their struts will be farther apart as well.

    Is the Corolla Sportivo in Australia and Corolla XRS here the same cars?

    Hello, I want to know if these two cars are the same cars. Except minor changes, like tire brand, interior, wheels and the fact that the sportivo is a 5 door hatchback, are they the same. They both share the 2zzge, 6 speed transmission and same suspension. Im asking this because i want to know if a sportivo strut bar would fit my Corolla XRS. Thank you.

    i think the sportivo got 10 more horspower like 190... but it does ride on the same chassis... cuz corolla is another world car that shares chassis w/ celica, matrix, vibe, and voltz
