Don't feel sorry for Cali.. If homes weren't that much here the whole USA would move here.. You pay for what you get..... You want to live in portola hills.. and be a baller.. expect to pay out your ass for a house.. you better have your grandparents, parents and children living with you... or you better have a really high paying position ... Orange County is really the land of opportunity these days... you have a degree, an education... and you want to live on the beach... you expect everyone around you to have the same education... no trailers parked next to your home here...... CALIFORNIA LOVE !!!!

I work right next to some of those really high priced zip codes.. and talk withthe people on a daily basis... it's worth the price to live around people like that. Ballers !!!

where do you work.. i want to become a loan officer.. I am supposed to meet with United American Insurance next weekend for an interview to become an Insurance sales rep. , And I know I could make BANK in that field.. but damn.. loan processing, close 45 loans a month and your making like 2.5 million a year.. atleast my friend who just left Ditech and became an investor made that kind of money. now he doesn't have to work.. he just invests and buys out companies. man oh man.. to have the personality to become successful !! it's a must have.

Probably because the cost of living is less in Florida, so the median house price is lower.

The same house in most of the above zip codes is probably 500k more than a palm beach house, for the same size.

My good friend just moved from palm beach to pittsburgh....and for the amount he sold his house for in florida, he had to get a smaller house in pitt.

Yeah cost of living definitely lower down here.

Actually, there's West Palm Beach (which is a big city), then North Palm Beach, South Palm Beach and the actual Palm Beach.

The houses in the Palm Beach island cost $1+ million.
South Palm Beach is also on the island ... therefore it's expensive as well.

West Palm Beach has some good area but for the most part ... it's the ghetto :D

Why do you think it's called DUB CITY? lol

He said he loved it down there.....and he moved up to Pittsburgh in the heart of winter, so he was hating life! Work made him move though.

It was pittsburgh or arizona....and he wanted to stay on the east coast.
