    I sold my corolla

    Yes.. the day has finally come.. I have sold my Corolla....It is now in the hands of a Navy medic stationed at Camp Pendleton.

    I got the car back in 99. A few months later, I realized it was slow... so I did a search for "corolla racing" .. and I found C3 Racing... Started fixing up the Corolla... Duwayne went to jail... I started Racing Solution... years later I turbo'd the car with the lovely Stafford Fabrication kit (puke)... I buy the Scion tC ... 6 months later my motor in the Corolla is dead... $1500 later my Corolla is running again... and 8 months later.. its sold...

    Quite a ride... That car sparked my interest in cars.

    Yah.. I'm considering the greddy kit.. last I heard.. greddy said their car's been tied up at shows.. so they haven't been able to finalize the kit... once they do.. they'll see if theres a demand.. and then decide if they will release it or not.. who knows when that will be..

    lol... shit... the sad part is.. I actually thought about it when I first got the car.. because I wanted to have the first turbo'd scion tc (other than the sema cars)... but I smacked some sense into myself..

    So theyre saying the intercooler will give you a 20% hp increase?

    And where are you getting the 400hp to the wheels figure? Considering a TC starts off at 160 hp (and thats to the flywheel, correct?) So that is @ 130 to the wheels, with the 90% increase would put ya at @260 to the wheels, correct?

    SWEET CAR! From what that site says...seems that they are trying to say "dont do as we do..." since they are pushing their TC to its limits. Failing fuel pump, sheared axle....etc

    Eric.. you you are just about on the money.. the tC avg's about 140 at the wheels stock... the Scion Speed stage 2 kit puts you at around 260 at the wheels.. Their kit seems amazing.. and looks well built... having a bad past experience with a turbo kit.. I'm going to wait until several kits are installed and running for a while before I put one on my tC..

    tC are nice... a while ago i had a down deposit and ordered one. took a few weeks to get in but once i saw it i was soooo in love with that car. but i just wanted to see the car, not in market to trade-in my V (which now totalled).
