    Subs Poll

    What are your guys' favorites and/or preferences when it comes to woofers/subs? I'm re-doing my A/V system and I would appreciate the input.

    just got me some MB Quarts, they are nice!!!! basically they are made by rockford fosgate under a different company

    What kind of music do you listen to? What kind of sound are you looking for? SPL, SQ, etc. How much do you have to spend? Did you upgrade your speakers already? Do you already have an amp you would like to use for your subs?

    I listen mainly to hip-hop, so I want good, clean, low end response. Not trying to blow anyones windows out, but I do want something that hits pretty decent as well. Right now I have an alpine 1000w amp that im pretty happy with, but might ebay it if I find something I like better. Just sold my alpine type-S subs and was going to upgrade to the type-R's but Iv heard some complaints about newer alpine subs. Looking for something in the under 300 range for the subs.

    get some JL AUDIO 13w7, if you want some good subs....you can't get any btr than those man...:)....they will set your pocket book back some though. They also have JL AUDIO 10w7, 12w7, and also 15w7 if you have enough room. I have heard them in person so sweet they are

    rockford fosgate speakers rock.. they really take a beating and sound great. they also make great amps, but audiobahn is a tad better

    I had a 10W6V2 and it was uber high quality. deffinately the sub you want if you like sound quality, and it's 2ohm impedance DVC so you dont have to use a JL amp like the W7's.
